How we handle the remains of our companion pets is a very personal matter. Many feel that a burial is most appropriate, while some prefer to spread all or a portion of  their ashes in a favorite place. Many also prefer to keep their remains intact in a memorial Urn. Whatever the decision, we feel the importance that our pet companions are provided the same dignity as our human loved ones.

Our Urns were designed with that in mind…to provide a lasting memorial to our companion, so that we may embrace and celebrate the joy they provided during their time with us and our time with them…with dignity.

From the raised panel top, fully lined interior and unique raised panel pedestal base, Rustica Pet Urns are crafted from hand selected woods with an eye on contrasts and grains. The Rustica Dignity and Rustica Regal are in three sizes ranging from under 30 up to 199 pounds (prior to cremation). Larger custom sizes are available on request and our horse urn will house from 1200 pounds (prior to cremation) to 1700 lbs.
Rustica Urns are unique in design, construction and finishes, utilizing mitered drawer lock joinery and raised panels providing structure integrity and dimension. We employ a seventeen stage finishing process ending in 12000 grit micro mesh with 3 coats of clear Lacquer to achieve a very high finish.



Involved


Jon and Romy have been heavily involved with shelters, rescues, adoption, canine nutrition and building support groups for may years.

They remembered how important it was to them when Jon's sister brought Berber's remains back to them in a beautiful wood urn which today holds the primary place in his memorial bookcase in Jon's office at the house.

Rustica actually was borne from that involvement when Jon began building memorial urns as gifts for friends whose companions passed. Then Forest Gump-like..he just kept building them... so Rustica was borne.

  • We carefully maintain the chain of custody to ensure that the cremains you receive are those of your pet.
  • Cremation is conducted and the urn returned within 2 business days. 
  • Both private and communal (no ash return) cremation service is offered.
  • Home removal service is available, either same day or next day. 
  • You are welcome to bring your animal to our facility, including your horse.  
    We will unload and place in our cremation unit.

Precious Pets Memorial Center™ provides unique and comprehensive pet death care options in a welcoming and comfortable facility conveniently located to many residential areas.

We will pick up your Precious Pet from your home, or from your vet’s office within 24 hours, and sometimes, if circumstances require and time permits, within the hour of their death. We will then wrap in a blanket and transport them in a casket to our Memorial Center, where your final wishes, whether they be to have a final goodbye or hold a memorial service, or to cremate or arrange for burial of your Precious Pet immediately.
